TODA visited Forum Macao on 24 February 2025. Both sides exchanged experiences and plans on developing tourism professionals among Portuguese-speaking countries (PLP) to reinforce Macao’s role as a platform connecting Mainland China and Portuguese-speaking countries. Secretary-General Mr. Ji Xianzheng is open to possible cooperation with TODA and expressed his wish for TODA's success.

The Permanent Secretariat has been working on promoting trade and investment, cooperation on human resources training, and cultural exchanges between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, as well as promoting Macao's role as a Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
