Ms. Florence Ian has extensive experience in hotel operations, vocational training, and higher education management. During her career at a local higher education institution and a government training organization, she was involved in human capital development and international cooperation, working with organizations such as the European Union (EU), UN Tourism, the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), and educational institutions worldwide. She also gained experience in quality assurance and certification systems, including the UN Tourism TedQual (Tourism Education Quality) Certification, various ISO standards, and government service quality programmes.

Florence also managed an educational hotel and restaurant that received international recognition. After more than 30 years of service, Florence is now focused on her role as the Founder and President of the International Tourism Professionals Development Association, Macau (TODA), where she continues to support the professional development of tourism practitioners.

Florence holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of East Asia (now the University of Macau) and a Master’s degree in Educational Management from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom.
