Ms. Evonne Chiu has an extensive background in the banking industry, having served as General Manager at Banco Nacional Ultramarino S.A. (BNU) and as Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Macao Development Bank (MDB) in Macau. From 1989 to 2017, she was with BNU, where she led system project management, business development, and both Retail and Corporate banking. She also managed the Headquarters’ India office and operations related to Portuguese-speaking countries.

In 2018, Evonne joined the pre-opening team of Macau Development Bank and was appointed Executive Director and Deputy CEO, roles she held until 2021. Currently, she is a financial consultant. Evonne holds an EMBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Science in Management from the Catholic University of Portugal and the University of Saint Joseph."
