Ms. Evonne Chiu has over 30 years of experience in Macau’s banking and financial services industry. She began her career at BNU in 1989, developing expertise in business development, branch management, and corporate banking. Prior to leaving the bank, she served as Director of the Large Corporate Division, building strong relationships and broad experience with major hospitality and gaming operators following the liberalization of Macau’s gaming industry.

In 2018, she joined the pre-opening team of Macau Development Bank and served as Executive Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer until 2021.

In line with the Macao Government’s “1+4” economic diversification strategy, she joined Macao Funway Investment Fund Co. prior to its establishment and played a key role in obtaining its investment fund license. She currently serves as General Manager and Director of the Macao office.

Ms. Chiu holds an EMBA from CUHK and an MSc in Management, and is pursuing a PhD in Government Studies at USJ.
